Moreover, the field of Instructional Technology had different names and definitions as shown in the figure below (click on the figure below to see the field's definitions) (Reiser, 2012).
After taking a look on the field's definitions, we can realize the evolving in them throughout the years as shown in the figure below (Reisr, 2012)
Through the years the field of Instructional Technology had many views as what leaders looked at it, they considered the visual materials, for instance, pictures, charts, and artifacts as instructional technologies. After that audio materials were added to have audiovisual instructions as instructional technology. A while after, processes were added (Reiser, 2012).
